TERMS, CONDITIONS & POLICIES

All reservations are made with Manzana Azul SAS, registered in Colombia (NIT 900972341, RNT 97564, here referred to as “Manzana Azul” or “the club”). All reservations must be made by an adult over 18. By booking a day pass, stay or event at The Pink Mango, you accept these terms and conditions.

PERSONAL RESPONSIBILITY

The Pink Mango is located on a remote island, 20 minutes from Cartagena. Arrival is by boat, which requires the physical ability to board and disembark without assistance. In the event of adverse sea or weather conditions, access via the beach may not be possible. If so, the club will arrange a 5-minute transfer from the village of Tierra Bomba by motorcycle (on the back seat) or on foot (15 minutes). In extreme marine or weather conditions, the club may become inaccessible and your reservation may be cancelled for safety. Visiting a remote island involves personal risk. The Pink Mango cannot be reached by land-based emergency services and is accessible only by sea or air. You are responsible for arranging adequate insurance to cover accidents, medical evacuation and emergencies. Manzana Azul provides the legally required safety equipment for all activities and transport operated by the club. All travel to and from the club, and participation in activities, is voluntary and undertaken at your own risk.

Manzana Azul accepts no responsibility for any consequences arising from your travel, visit or participation in any activity. You are responsible for judging your own physical condition and abilities. Risks include, but are not limited to, cancellations, delays, extra expenses, injuries, dehydration or even death, including during boating, jet ski, sailing, fishing, swimming, diving, hiking, yoga, pilates, massage, reflexology, paddleboarding, sunbathing, running, walking on rugged terrain or in remote villages, wildlife encounters, lack of immediate medical care, or any force majeure event. Some activities are operated by independent third-party providers. Club staff may assist with organising and paying for these activities, but Manzana Azul does not guarantee the quality or safety of the provider and assumes no responsibility for these services. Life jackets are strongly recommended for all water activities and boat transfers. It is your responsibility to wear one and ensure minors in your care do the same. Manzana Azul is not responsible for lost or stolen items. You agree to indemnify and hold Manzana Azul harmless from any damage, loss or cost caused by you or your guests.

RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS

Manzana Azul accepts payments in Colombian pesos via debit or credit card (Visa, Amex, MasterCard), and also cash deposits, bank transfers or cheque (for Colombian residents only). Group bookings over eight guests or bookings during high season may require a deposit.

Event bookings require: 10% at booking, 40% 60 days before the event, and the balance 15 days before.

CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS
Single day passes:
A 97% refund is issued if cancellation is received in writing before 12 p.m. the day before your visit. After that deadline, the booking is non-refundable and non-transferable. Events, groups and private hire: Deposits paid are 90% refundable if cancellation is received in writing up to 60 days before the event. After that deadline, the booking is non-refundable, but can be used as credit at the club. If Manzana Azul must alter or cancel your booking for reasons within its control (not force majeure), you will be offered either a comparable replacement or a full refund. No refunds are issued for cancellations caused by force majeure, but credit will be offered. All refunds are subject to a 3 percent administrative and banking fee.

DATA PROTECTION

Manzana Azul collects, uses and protects personal data in accordance with Colombian law. Before or at the time of collecting personal information, Manzana Azul identifies the purpose for which the data is being collected. Data is collected only for authorised purposes and kept only as long as necessary. Personal information is collected using lawful means and with the knowledge of the data subject. Manzana Azul uses reasonable security measures to prevent loss, theft, unauthorised access, disclosure, copying, use or modification. Clients may request information regarding our data protection practices at any time. Manzana Azul is committed to responsible, transparent and confidential handling of personal information. We do not sell your data to anyone.

SUSTAINABILITY

Manzana Azul operates under sustainability principles: conserving natural heritage, reducing energy and water consumption, minimising waste, respecting local customs, supporting local communities and artisans, generating fair employment, and rejecting all forms of child sexual exploitation, child labour and discrimination. The company trains its staff and encourages responsible practices among guests, suppliers and partners.

PREVENTION OF CHILD EXPLOITATION

Manzana Azul and all its collaborators adopt measures to prevent any form of sexual exploitation of children or adolescents, including pornography and sex tourism. The organisation complies with the Convention on the Rights of the Child, the Optional Protocol, Colombian legislation and all regulations in force.

It is strictly prohibited to:

  1. Promote, permit or facilitate activities involving sexual exploitation of minors.

  2. Fail to report suspicious situations to authorities.

  3. Use photographic or video material that sexually depicts minors.

  4. Allow facilities to be used for the exploitation or abuse of minors.

  5. Work with suppliers who do not adopt similar protective policies.

ILLICIT DRUGS
Manzana Azul prohibits the use of illegal drugs and promotes responsible alcohol consumption. The narco trade pretty much ruined two generations' lives here. Be respectful.

RIGHT OF ADMISSION

Manzana Azul reserves the right to deny entry or remove any person who poses a risk, disrupts other guests or engages in illegal activities. Any resulting cost will be borne by the guest.

APPLICABLE LAW

Colombian law governs these terms and conditions. Any dispute will be resolved exclusively in Colombia. If any provision is deemed invalid, the remainder will remain in full effect.

CHANGES
Manzana Azul may update these terms and conditions as needed and will publish the current version on this website.
